Our Community
The school was opened in 1853 by Governor Latrobe. During the last 155 years the school has provided excellence in education to students from the well established areas of Hawthorn, Richmond and Kew.
As Principal for the last four years I have worked with all members of our community to build on its strengths and connectedness to provide the best possible learning outcomes for all students.
We strive to create a fun, supportive and relevant learning environment that both engages and challenges students. We take the time to build a culture that values the efforts, achievements and successes.
We aim to develop life long learners who are happy, balanced and active citizens in their community.
